Minnesota lottery has extended its contract with the International Gaming Technology (IGT) for another two years. The deal which is currently running gives IGT the right to supply instant tickets to the lottery. With the extension, IGT will continue the operation till June 30, 2022.
The famous live casino software provider and technology company secured the contract through IGT Global Solution Corporation. This is a subsidiary to the International Gaming Technology Plc.

What Minnesota Lottery Rep Had to Say
Wes Harms, who spoke on behalf of Minnesota Lottery, was happy that IGT would continue working with the company for the next two years. He claimed that IGT services had helped the lottery company to increase its productivity. He specifically mentioned the development of a $500 scratch game, which was developed with the IGT team's assistance from scratch to completion.
The Minnesota lottery director of operations explained that the lottery's income is part of the funds used by the government to develop the state, provide services for the people, and protect the Minnesota environment. He said it is, therefore, essential to keep the players happy and sustain the business.

While speaking on behalf of IGT, the Chief Operating Officer for Lottery, Jay Gendron, said his company has been providing quality services for Minnesota Lottery for the past ten years. Also, he claimed they are happy to continue.

The new contract between IGT and Minnesota Lottery stipulates that IGT provides the lottery company with logistics, research info, analysis, and graphics. The technology company will also facilitate the printing of instant lottery tickets for the Minnesota Lottery, among many other services. IGT is not new to working with Minnesota Lottery as it has been the major company providing a draw-based lottery system for the lottery company for the past 18 years.
