How to Play Blackjack?
We’ve all seen some of the most famous casino themed movies that always include games like blackjack or poker. And the thing is, blackjack is one of the few casino games that can be played in any online casino. At the beginning two cards are dealt and depending on the score of these cards, we decide what to do in the game. The player bets against the dealer and has to add cards until he gets 21 points. If he does not get them, he can get as close as possible to them, but he can never exceed them, because in that case he would lose the game.
When the player stands, i.e., does not want more cards, the dealer raises his cards and asks for more or less cards depending on his score. The winner is the one who comes closest to 21 points or reaches 21 points. If there is a tie, the money wagered is returned. If you get blackjack, that is, if you have an ace and a 10-value card with the first two cards, you get 3/2 times the money wagered.
Types of Blackjack
At Casinoble we recommend to play two types of live blackjack: European and American. The way of playing is very similar except for small differences that are essential to know if we want to master all facets of the game.
Classic Blackjack
The dealer initially holds one card. In this mode, the player can get the insurance bet (explained in the usual questions). Once the players have decided whether or not to bet on the insurance, the game continues as normal. When they have finished their moves, the dealer adds a card to their hand and checks to see if they have obtained blackjack. For the dealer to get blackjack, he must have an Ace and a 10 or a figure.
American Blackjack
The dealer will initially deal himself two cards (and not one), one of them face down. If he has an ace, he will offer the chance to make an insurance bet. Once the players decide whether to ensure their play or not, the dealer will check to see if he has gotten blackjack. If so, he will pay the insurance and collect the bets of the rest of the players, without them being able to hit, double down, split or stand. If he does not have blackjack, the game will continue in the traditional way.
Differences Between Classic and American blackjack
The main difference between classic blackjack and American blackjack lies in the distribution of cards and the possibility of insurance. In the American version of the game, two cards are dealt to all participants from the beginning and the dealer is the first to check his cards: he offers insurance only if his face card is an ace and, if he has blackjack, i.e., an ace and a figure or a 10, he will pay insurance at that moment; then he will check the rest of the plays, returning the money to the players who also have blackjack and winning the others.
